Version 1.0 — Effective September 17, 2026.
1. About Its Veterans
Its Veterans is a service of Thirstier, a DBA of Immix Tachyon Synergy Network LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”). These Terms of Use concern itsveterans.com, including our news, benefits guides, comments and Contact page.
We are an independent publication. We are not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a government agency or a government-endorsed benefits service. Links to official sources do not establish affiliation or endorsement.
2. Information, not individual professional advice
Our content provides general education and news. It is not individualized legal, medical, financial or tax advice, and it does not create an attorney-client, clinician-patient, fiduciary or accredited-representative relationship. We do not determine eligibility, represent you before VA or submit a claim or appeal for you.
VA and other responsible agencies make benefits decisions under applicable law. A disability rating, Individual Unemployability, Permanent and Total status, effective dates, work history, family circumstances and state rules can affect a result. Examples do not promise eligibility, approval, payment or protection against a reduction.
Read your own notices and current official instructions. Do not miss a deadline, stop treatment, change employment, withdraw a claim or submit a new claim solely because of our content. Consult the appropriate agency, qualified professional or VA-accredited representative for your circumstances. Our Contact page is not a claims portal or emergency service.
3. Accuracy, corrections and outside sources
We aim to provide useful information, but material can be incomplete, outdated or mistaken. A publication or “last checked” date is a review point, not a promise of continuous monitoring. Proposed rules, effective rules and publication dates are different. We do not promise to identify every change.
AI and automated tools may assist research, drafting, images or imported news. They can make mistakes and do not replace editorial responsibility. To report an error, send the page link, the issue and a supporting source through our Contact page. We may correct, update or remove content; we cannot promise a response to every message.
Outside websites and content are controlled by their providers. Their accuracy, availability and practices may change. A link or attribution does not grant reuse rights or necessarily mean endorsement. Review a provider’s terms before using its services.
4. Responsible use
Do not use this site for threats, harassment, fraud, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, spam, malware, unauthorized access, interference with operation, harvesting personal information or infringement of another person’s rights. This provision does not prohibit accessibility tools, lawful quotation or other legally protected activity.
Share only material you have the right to submit. Do not send or post Social Security numbers, VA claim numbers, passwords, medical records, financial account details or another person’s confidential information. Public comments may be copied or indexed by others. General messages are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Comments and submitted material
You retain ownership of material you own. For material you intentionally submit for public display, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format and display it as reasonably necessary to operate and moderate that feature. This permission does not authorize selling private correspondence or using it as an advertising testimonial.
We may moderate or remove submissions, close discussions or restrict access for violations or operational reasons. We do not promise to review every submission before it appears. Comments express their authors’ views and do not necessarily reflect ours.
6. Intellectual property and rights concerns
Rights in original site writing, design and branding belong to ITSN or the relevant rights holder, subject to public-domain and third-party rights. You may read, link to and print guides for personal informational use. Other copying must be authorized or permitted by law, including applicable fair-use rights. We do not claim ownership of public-domain government works. Government websites may also contain protected third-party material.
For a copyright or other rights concern, use our Contact page with the subject “Rights concern.” Identify the page, material, basis of your rights and how to reach you. We will assess the report. This general contact process does not represent that a DMCA designated agent has been registered or guarantee statutory safe-harbor protection.
7. Privacy and changes to services
Our separate Privacy Policy describes personal-information practices. These Terms do not replace legally required privacy notices, permissions or choices. Contacting us is not consent to a newsletter or marketing subscription.
These Terms cover the informational site. They do not establish a paid membership, purchase agreement or refund policy. Material sponsorships or affiliate relationships must be disclosed where readers encounter them, and new commercial features require appropriate terms and privacy information.
8. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We may modify or discontinue features. We cannot guarantee the permanent availability or absolute security of this site or external services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty, remedy or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
9. Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ITSN and its owners, officers, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, including lost profits or data.
This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be excluded, or other nonwaivable liability. The scope and enforceability of any limitation depend on applicable law and the circumstances.
10. Law, revisions and contact
Washington law governs to the extent legally permissible, without depriving a person of mandatory protections applicable where they reside. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights. We will provide reasonable notice of applicable terms and obtain affirmative agreement where required for a service; a footer link alone is not a substitute for agreement when the law requires it.
Material revisions will be dated, with additional notice or consent where required. Revisions do not retroactively authorize a new use of personal information or waive existing claims. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
